Starting 06 Jan 2012, every 2nd Friday will be Military Appreciation Day at Camp Fortune and starting 13 Jan 2012, every 2nd Friday will be Military Appreciation Day at Mont Ste Marie. Serving (and retired) Regular (and Reserve) Force personnel will be able to ski or board for free. Their immediate families will be welcome to join them for half price and equipment rentals at the hills will be half price to the Military personnel and their immediate families on these days. Unaccompanied spouses and children are included but should have their family ID cards which are available from the Family Resource Centre. Military personnel will require their CF ID. Ski Lift tickets are to be obtained at Guest Services inside the main lodge.

Saturday - 11 Feb 2012 Calabogie Peaks Resort is teaming with Big Rock Brewery to host a Military Appreciation and club fun day. Serving (and retired) Regular (and Reserve) Force personnel will able to ski or board for free. Their immediate families will be welcome to join them for half price and equipment rentals at the hills will be half price to the Military personnel and their immediate families on this day. Unaccompanied spouses and children are included but should have their family ID cards which are available from the Family Resource Centre. Military personnel will require their CF ID. National Capital Ski Club members are invited to come out at and join in the fun - on and off snow. Lift tickets will be available to club members at 20% off. Members will require their club membership cards. Ski Lift tickets are to be obtained at the Adventure Centre inside the main lodge. Come hit the slopes then sample some Big Rock beer and win some prizes.
Please note - Military Family ID cards are available at the PSP Recreation Office (330 Croil Private, Building 471 Uplands, Ottawa, ON, K1V 1J1) for military family members 13 years and older. The military member and all family members receiving a card must be present to sign the MFID card.
